First, we flew into Seattle and made our way down the WA coast, and spend the night just over the border in Astoria, OR. (Where the Goonies & Kindergarten Cop were filmed).

This is looking from OR back toward WA. Isn't that bridge amazing? It was so much fun to drive across! The next day we hiked up the Astoria Column, a punishing 200 or so stairs -
It was beautiful from the top! (Please refer to the 1st picture). We then headed down the OR coast...

Beautiful, isn't it?? We were also able to see some puffins pooping on a rock!!! That was, by far, one of the highlights of the trip! (If you believe me, you don't know me very well).
We then headed inland and spent a day in Portland, we spend the night at the most amazing B&B, and among other places visited the Portland Rose Garden. (This picture doesn't do it justice, there will hundreds of different kids of roses, millions of roses, and it is on the top of a hill overlooking the whole city with Mt. Hood in the background... BEAUTIFUL!)
And then we headed to the Japanese Gardens. If you ever find yourself in Portland, this is a MUST!
It was so peaceful and just beautiful.
We then met up with my best friend Heather and her husband Bryan, and our friends from Olympia and saw Multnomah Falls, the 4th tallest waterfall in the US. Sadly, it is so tall we couldn't get a picture of the whole thing! Just imagine it. :) We also took a day trip and went up Mt. Rainier.
And we also took a ferry across Puget Sound into Seattle. Here is a view from the ferry. :)
And we spend our final day in Seattle. We visited Pikes Fish Market and watched them yell and throw huge fish, the original Starbucks and the last thing we did before heading to the airport was go up in the Seattle Space Needle. Here is a picture of downtown Seattle from the top. :)
And finally, this post was sponsored by our friends from the NW. Rachelle did an INCREDIBLE job of planning our trip for us. She gave us a list of cities to stay in, places that were worth seeing and made the vacation that much more relaxing and amazing.
Thank you for watching. :)
