Aquafina

I LOVE AQUAFINA WATER. I have been a water snob for some time (it comes from my mom's side of the family). But, I am not sure when the love affair started. I have always liked the taste of Aquafina water over Dasani, and it was some time post-college (when I actually started reading labels) when I realized that Dasani water adds SALT to their water. (To dehydrate you and make you thirsty). Since then, I have been a Aquafina fan all the way.

While we were in India, my love grew deeper, because with all the germs and who-knows-what in your water, the Aquafina label was a welcome respite, and I knew I could drink it without getting sick.

And now, in pregnancy, Aquafina is the only water that doesn't give me heartburn. If only they sold the big bottles by the case!! As my brother would say... that would be perfection.

An Arrow

Sons are a heritage from the LORD,
children a reward from him.
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior
are sons born in one's youth.
Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.

Random Things

Well, I was tagged by my friend Sarah a long time ago to give 7 random things about myself, so hopefully she will get to read this before she goes into labor. :)

1. When I was young my bedroom was right under my parent's. I used to sit up reading all night, and as soon as I heard my dad get up for work in the morning I would hurry and turn off my light (which was right above my head because I had begged my parents for a can light above my bed so I didn't have to get out of bed to turn it off) , and then I would sleep from 4:30 to 8. :)

2. I will ALWAYS choose beef over chicken.

3. The Great Compromise - I think Drew and I have opinions about everything, so it took over a year of marriage before we finally agreed that 1. The last person in bed had to turn off the light, not the person closest (my concession), and 2. When taking out the trash, the same person is responsible for putting in the new bag (Drew's concession).

4. I do not like Ketchup ON my sandwich/hamburger etc. I have to dip it. But the mustard can be on it.

5. Growing up the siblings in my family played "Slave & Master" when we had to clean a room. The Master sits on the couch and the slave has to do everything the Master says. I was always the Master. :) My slaves never rebelled.

6. I believe that wearing sock and sandals is a cardinal sin.

7. Growing up, we had a rooster named Nic-Nac, a hen named Patty, and another Rooster named Whack... all were eaten by a fox.
