Benjamin LOVES to read. (And hopefully Baby Girl will too, considering she has been read to about 10x as much as Ben was in-utero). We probably spend at least an hour, often more reading every day. And this doesn't count the hour or so that Ben spends "reading." White I take a shower he usually sits on my bed and pulls all the books off the book shelf one at a time and "reads them." I hear things like "Silly Turkey!, Hi George, Fox in Socks... as he goes through each one... it is so sweet! So I thought I would share a few of our current favorites with you... I am sure there will be more posts, since we have FAR more than 4 favorites... but now you can go to the library and find them!

A friend introduced me to this book while I was looking for a baby gift for another friend. I fell in love with it!! (I ended up going back a few days later and buying Ben his own copy because I loved it so much). My favorite line in the book is "Duck was a neutral party, so he brought the ultimatum to the cows." It is a fun book to read... especially if your kids are animal lovers like mine... and you won't get sick of reading it every night for a month. :) (Something you MUST take into consideration when buying a book!!)

This has become our daily nap-time read the past few weeks. What is better than a man and a machine who conquer the world... or at least Popperville. :) So, since I told you my favorite line from the last book, my favorite in this book is, "She called up the towns of Bangerville and Bopperville and Kipperville and Cooperville to tell them what was going on in Popperville." Love it. :)

For Christmas Ben received two Curious George books, and he has loves them. It is amazing how their little brains work. The other day we were having breakfast and when I asked Ben what he wanted on his pancake... he replied BLUEBERRIES & SYRUP!! LIKE GEORGE!! :)

And finally... Chicka, Chicka Boom Boom. Ben and I have been working on our ABCs, so this is always a fun read. Last week I was going to spend about 2 hours at the mechanic so we went to the library first and stocked up... and this was one that we grabbed. I love rhyming books, so this one is great. And Ben wanders around the house saying, Chicka, Chicka BOOM BOOM!!!!
